ocated just 15 minutes from downtown Chapel Hill, Dreamfield Equestrian Farm, LLC is 30 acres of peace and tranquility for both horse and humans alike. Opened in September 2012, Dreamfield provides exceptional care for a select group of horses and owners. Nearby neighbors include equestrians ranging from Polocrosse players to barrel racers, all sharing the lovely bucolic setting.
The grounds are graced by a beautiful barn, a spacious 110 x 220 foot arena and a large covered round pen. Both the arena and round pen have all-weather footing. The 14x14 stalls with Comfort Stall flooring are surrounded by well-tended pasture and trail areas. Dreamfield is enclosed by special V-Mesh fencing that's safe for horses and designed to keep opossums out. There are automatic watering stations in both stalls and pastures and a non-chemical fly spray system to ensure your horses comfort throughout the day.
The drive-thru is covered, providing a weatherproof area to load or unload your horse. All hay and shavings are kept separate from the barn to reduce dust and debris. Owners are provided their own space for a tack box, cleaning and grooming supplies, saddles and bridles. Enter the pristine feeding room which is kept completely rodent and insect free. Gorgeous maple cabinetry fronts individual custom designed feed bins that slide open with ease – even when fully loaded with 200 pounds of grain. Stainless steel shelving and granite counter tops combine beauty with practicality, making clean up easy and stress-free.
True to its name, Dreamfield is indeed a dream come true for horses. From the extra-large cushioned stalls, to the manicured turnout pastures, nothing has been omitted in creating the most comfortable and safe facility for horses. The large ring has perfect footing and the covered round pen allows for bad weather riding. There are groomed trails around the property for a wonderful and relaxing hack. All in all, horse heaven.
